Armen A. Avakian is an associate who joined the firm in the Fall of 2006. He specializes in litigation involving homeowner claims including landslides/earth movement, premises liability, construction defect, breach of contract, and general negligence.

Mr. Avakian was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2005, and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Central District. He is a member of the Los Angeles and Orange County Bar Associations, as well as the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.

Mr. Avakian completed his undergraduate education at the University of California Berkeley where he graduated in 1999 with a B.A. in History. Mr. Avakian received his J.D. in 2004 from Santa Clara University School of Law. He was a semi-finalist in Santa Clara's annual Honor's Moot Court competition in 2004.

Born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, Mr. Avakian currently resides in Long Beach with his wife Jacque, baby daughter Karina, and dog Lucy. When away from work, Mr. Avakian can be found traveling (locally and internationally), watching sports, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends.
