Patrick Stark is a partner with the firm, specializing in the defense of lawsuits involving products liability; premises liability, including criminal acts of third parties; construction site accidents; homeowners' association disputes; security cases, including false arrest; breach of implied warranty of habitability and quiet enjoyment claims; mold/sick building cases; and employment matters. Mr. Stark has defended corporations, private individuals, and insurance companies in numerous high-profile matters, including catastrophic injury and multi-plaintiff/high-exposure litigation for the past 21+ years. He also has extensive experience handling class action litigation.

Mr. Stark has extensive trial experience, having tried matters in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, and Riverside Counties, most often to defense verdicts.

Mr. Stark was initially associated with Ford, Walker, Haggerty & Behar dating to 1994 and became a partner in the firm in 2000.

Mr. Stark joined the State Bar of California in 1989 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central and Southern Districts, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Stark has been a guest lecturer on topics of legal interest to his clients, including on the recent proliferation of implied warranty of habitability claims.

Mr. Stark attended Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California, on a merit scholarship, receiving his J.D. in 1989. He received his bachelor of science degree (with honors) from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 1986.

Mr. Stark lives in Huntington Beach, California, with his wife, Lisa, and son, Robert.
