Tom Swoboda joined the firm as a litigation associate in 2011. He practices in the areas of professional liability, automobile liability and premise liability. He represents companies, health care professionals, insurers and individuals. Prior to joining Ford, Walker Haggerty & Behar, Mr. Swoboda was a sole practitioner focusing on civil litigation and bankruptcy.

Mr. Swoboda was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2009. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, as well as all California State courts. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Mr. Swoboda received his J.D. in 2007 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. He obtained his B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley in 2003.

While at Berkeley, Mr. Swoboda played tight-end on the football team for the California Golden Bears. He was a three-time Pac-10 All-Academic team, voted most improved player and a semi-finalist for the John Mackey award in 2002.

Born and raised in Southern California, Mr. Swoboda currently lives in Redondo Beach.
