This premier legal event brought together top defense attorneys from across Southern California for a series of engaging presentations and networking opportunities.
Mock Jury Trial
Jeff Behar was a speaker at the ASCDC Annual Seminar presenting a Mock Jury Trial with 2 other defense lawyers opposing a formidable panel of plaintiff attorneys including Brian Panish, Gary Dordick and Deborah Chang. After closing arguments, the case was submitted to 21 jurors and the audience was able to observe and hear the jury deliberations.
Evidence Presentation: “Don’t Strike Out”
Juan Delgado co-presented “Evidence: Don’t Strike Out,” a CLE session, explaining how to get the evidence you need into court, focusing on effective evidence presentation for a case.
The seminar’s keynote speech came from Dave Roberts, Manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Mr. Roberts shared his leadership insights and lessons from on and off the field. In addition to the speaker series, the ASCDC presented a comprehensive Year in Review and State of the Courts update.
