Mr. Livesay, Senior Counsel at the firm, focuses his practice on complex litigation. Practice areas include construction defect and injury matters, insurance bad faith, premises liability and professional liability. Mr. Livesay has defended and prosecuted claims on behalf of individuals, corporate entities, real estate developers, homeowners’ associations, general contractors and subcontractors. He has been an active litigator for over two decades. Mr. Livesay passionately represents clients’ interests by analyzing case merits, minimizing risk and driving claims to positive resolutions.
Mr. Livesay has extensive courtroom and field experience. He has mediated over 200 matters to successful resolution. Mr. Livesay has written construction defect and insurance bad faith Continuing Legal Education workbooks and practical manuals and has lectured on construction defect law before legal associations. In addition, Mr. Livesay was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for expertise in legal analysis and legal writing skills.
