Ashley Colivas is an associate in the firm’s Silicon Valley office and has over eleven years of litigation experience. Prior to joining FWHB, Ms. Colivas was an associate at Casey Law Group in Los Gatos. Her primary areas of practice are insurance defense, automobile liability, personal injury defense, premises liability, public entity representation and fraudulent/suspect claims.
Ms. Colivas received a scholarship to attend McGeorge School of Law where she focused primarily on advocacy. During law school, she interned for the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. That internship led to her serving as a Deputy District Attorney for both Sacramento County and El Dorado County for a number of years. During her time as a prosecutor, Ms. Colivas tried over 50 cases to verdict.
Prior to law school, Ms. Colivas attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where she majored in Law and Society and minored in Global Peace and Security. She also played soccer for the UCSB Women’s Club team.
Ms. Colivas’ professional memberships include the Association of Northern California Defense Council (ANCDC) and the Association of Southern California Defense Council (ASCDC).
