Peyton Jones is a litigation associate at Ford, Walker, Haggerty & Behar’s Long Beach firm. Her practice focuses on civil litigation related to insurance defense, automobile liability and personal injury defense.
Prior to joining FWHB, Ms. Jones was selected to serve as an American Board of Trial Advocates Post-Graduate Fellow, a highly coveted fellowship position that only accepts the best and brightest graduating law students who have demonstrated through their academic and professional performance a true talent and desire to be trial lawyers.
While attending law school, Ms. Jones competed as an advocate on the nationally ranked Byrne Trial Advocacy Team, which is currently ranked fourth in the nation. She was also selected to join the esteemed Poehls/Hobbs District Attorney Clinic—an intensive advocacy training program for law students who demonstrate a talent for trial work. She served as a certified law clerk at the West Covina Branch of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony preliminary hearings. Ms. Jones is also committed to public service—she volunteered as an Impact Litigation law clerk at the nation’s largest Asian American non-profit legal and civil rights organization that advocates for the rights of underrepresented groups.
Prior to law school, Ms. Jones attended the University of California, San Diego, where she majored in Political Science with an emphasis on Public Law.
Ms. Jones is fluent in Chinese.
