Facts: This is a case of a disputed liability motor vehicle accident in which plaintiff claimed our client sideswiped him. We contended that plaintiff rear-ended our client. Our client passed away during the litigation and could not be present at the time of trial. Plaintiff ultimately received two spinal surgeries and multiple epidural injections and treated for over six years after the accident. Plaintiff alleged that he could not return to work for the rest of his life.

Damages: Plaintiff alleged medical specials over $380,000, which included two spinal surgeries, along with future medical treatment. Additionally, he sought lost wages of approximately $2,900,000. At trial, plaintiff asked the jury for a verdict in the amount of approximately $4,000,000.

Result: Defense verdict.
