This case involved a sideswipe collision with a parked car wherein the defendant driver left the scene before responding officers arrived. The first plaintiff, 24 years old, received injections and underwent a shoulder surgery while the second plaintiff, 18 years old, was recommended future surgery by several treaters.

FWHB received this transfer file with requests for admissions regarding causation, reasonableness, and necessity of treatment already deemed admitted.

At trial, the admitted requests for admissions were read to the jury along with jury instructions. The Defense did not call any of their retained experts at trial.

Plaintiff counsel asked for an award of $2,700,000. After jury deliberations, the total award was less than the medical specials of one of the two plaintiffs.
